Introduction Speech

                While preparing this speech I didn’t know what I wanted to say that would be interesting about me, and be intriguing to you guys at the same time. It was difficult for me to think about how I wanted to start the speech and deliver exactly what I wanted to say in the exact way I wanted to say it. Once I sat down all the ideas came to me so that wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I started thinking about what you guys wanted to know about me. The most interesting thing about me is that I graduated early from high school to come to school here and play football. But I didn’t want that to be my entire speech so I decided to throw in what got me here and why I wanted to come. I practiced my speech a couple times and I felt that it went pretty good, but of course I knew it was going to be different in front of all you guys.

                When I got up there I was a little nervous obviously because it was the first time every talking in front of you guys, but I got through it. I knew of course when I got up there I was going to do something wrong. And I did. I forgot to say two extra things that I planned on saying which made my speech a little shorter than I expected it to be. I was still pleased with what I had said so in the end I was fine with it. I hope to build off this and get better every speech.
